Daniel Smethurst was appointed by Mapeley to offer advice on the refurbishment and strategic marketing of a 50,000 ft² office building in the centre of Swindon following Swindon Borough council’s decision to vacate.  The end result has seen the entire building let in just over 2 years.

Aspect Park is a 180,000ft² HQ office building which until 2007 had been fully occupied. The decision by one of the major occupiers to serve notice on 70,000ft² of office accommodation and restaurant facilities had been unexpected. Daniel Smethurst was personally involved in the marketing campaign for the vacant space and negotiated terms on behalf of the Landlord to secure Nationwide as a tenant. Daniel also disposed of a further 24,000ft² to Nationwide following SMITHS relocation to Kembrey Park in 2013.

Daniel successfully secured and negotiated favourable lease terms on Portwall Place, a Prime City Centre office building in the heart of the City of Bristol.
